Shower leaks in the Eixample: what we check first
In older buildings in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample many showers were built on joist-and-vault floors with no membrane under the tiles. When water gets through, the stain appears in the flat below, so we arrange access with the neighbour to see the ceiling and work within the building's set hours.

04Does a tiled walk-in shower need more care than one with a tray?
Yes. Without a tray, the membrane and falls are all that hold the water back, so they must cover the whole floor and run up the walls.
