Renovating a garage in Ciutat Vella: where to start
In areas such as El Barri Gòtic and El Raval there are older houses with a ground-floor garage and converted ground-floor premises used for parking. They often have uneven slabs, rising damp and a heavy iron door, so we start by repairing the concrete and motorising or replacing the door.
In areas such as Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La Ribera we finish the garage with washable paint, protective skirting against bumper knocks and marked bay and walkway lines. We add shelving, bike hooks and sealed lighting that comes on when the door opens.
We visit the garage, check the floor, door and distance to the consumer unit and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates each trade. We also renovate garages in nearby areas: Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí.

Frequently asked questions
01Garage renovation in Ciutat Vella: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Ciutat Vella, in areas such as El Barri Gòtic, El Raval, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina, La Ribera and La Barceloneta, and also nearby: Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Which floor stands up best to cars?
An epoxy or polyurethane resin floor over a well-prepared slab: it doesn't create dust, resists oil and cleans with a mop. If the concrete is badly damaged, we repair it first.
03Can a charging point go in a shared residential garage?
Yes. The line usually runs from your own meter to your space, following ITC-BT-52 of the REBT. The residents' association is notified before work starts, and on the visit we plan the cable route.
