How we prepare walls before painting
In areas such as El Barri Gòtic and El Raval it is common to find 1960s and 70s flats with textured gotelé, distemper or walls yellowed by years of use. Before starting we protect the landing and shared staircase, and we work within the hours the building sets so neighbours are not disturbed.
If walls in areas such as Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La Ribera have gotelé texture, we remove it or skim over it, sand and seal with primer before painting. It takes more work than painting over it, but the result is a smooth, modern wall.
After the visit you receive a detailed written quote, room by room, and a site manager coordinates the team. We also paint homes in nearby areas: Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí.
