Dishwashers in Ciutat Vella: space, connections and testing
In areas such as El Barri Gòtic and El Raval there are many 1960s and 70s kitchens with no dishwasher space and a single circuit for every socket. We usually give up a base unit next to the sink and run a dedicated line from the consumer unit, cutting chases within the residents' association's hours.
In flats in areas such as Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La Ribera the space is usually taken by a drawer unit. We take it out, fit the strip that protects the underside of the worktop from steam and level the machine on its adjustable feet so the door sits flush with the neighbouring units.
After the visit you receive a detailed written quote covering the machine, the connections and any unit that needs adapting; when we finish we leave the kitchen tidy. We also install in nearby areas: Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí.

Frequently asked questions
01Dishwasher installation in Ciutat Vella: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Ciutat Vella, in areas such as El Barri Gòtic, El Raval, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina, La Ribera and La Barceloneta, and also nearby: Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the dishwasher go far from the sink?
Yes, but the drain hose only reaches so far. If the space is further away, we extend the waste pipe inside the wall with the right fall.
0345 cm or 60 cm dishwasher?
A 60 cm machine holds more and a 45 cm one suits narrow kitchens. We measure the space and tell you which fits without losing a useful drawer unit.
04Do you fit the door panel on an integrated dishwasher?
Yes. We line the panel up with the neighbouring units and adjust the door springs so it opens and closes smoothly.
