Before the parquet boxes are opened: what we measure
In areas such as Casc Antic and La Romànica we find houses with ground-floor slabs that draw moisture from the ground. We test with a moisture meter, lay a vapour barrier and, if readings are high, wait or treat the base before the wood goes down.
