Radiators in Banyoles: from cast iron to aluminium
In houses and terraced homes in areas such as Vila Vella and Vila Nova, the top floor typically warms first while the ground floor never quite gets there. We fit lockshield valves to balance each radiator, bleed points at high spots and a thermostatic valve in each room.
In houses in areas such as Sant Pere, La Farga and Canaleta, we put thermostatic valves in the rooms and a lockshield on each return. In the room with the wall thermostat we leave a manual valve, so the two controls don't work against each other.
We have over 20 years in heating work; after the visit you receive a written quote, and we work with floors and furniture protected. We also cover nearby areas: Porqueres, Cornellà del Terri and Fontcoberta.

Frequently asked questions
01Radiator replacement in Banyoles: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Banyoles, in areas such as Vila Vella, Vila Nova, Sant Pere, La Farga, Canaleta, Mas Palau, Cases Barates and Vila Olímpica, and also nearby: Porqueres, Cornellà del Terri and Fontcoberta. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can I replace the radiators without changing the boiler?
Yes. If the boiler works well, we only change the radiators and adapt the connections. We do check that the total output matches what the boiler can deliver.
03Which radiators work with a heat pump?
Low-temperature models or larger ones, because a heat pump sends cooler water around the system. At the visit we size each one.
04Does the wall need opening up?
Usually not: we reuse the existing connections. We only open the wall if a radiator moves or the new one has a different distance between tappings.
