Bathroom renovation in Banyoles: what we usually find
In areas such as Vila Vella and Vila Nova 1970s flats sit alongside family houses, and in both the bathroom is the room that ages fastest: damp ceilings, dripping cisterns and stopcocks that will not close. A renovation is a good moment to fit new isolation valves and a properly sized water heater.
On bathroom jobs in areas such as Sant Pere, La Farga and Canaleta we also renew the electrics: a dedicated circuit, sealed light fittings over the shower and sockets kept clear of water in line with the REBT. We fit an extractor fan ducted to the shaft or to the outside wall to clear the steam.
Following a visit to check measurements and services, we prepare a detailed written quote, and our team hands the bathroom over clean, with no building dust left behind. Nearby areas we also cover: Porqueres, Cornellà del Terri and Fontcoberta.

Frequently asked questions
01Complete bathroom renovation in Banyoles: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Banyoles, in areas such as Vila Vella, Vila Nova, Sant Pere, La Farga, Canaleta, Mas Palau, Cases Barates and Vila Olímpica, and also nearby: Porqueres, Cornellà del Terri and Fontcoberta. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Do the pipes need replacing when I renovate the bathroom?
We almost always recommend it: with the tiles already off, renewing supply and waste pipes avoids opening the wall again later for a leak in old pipework.
03Can the toilet or shower be moved?
Yes, as long as the waste pipe can reach the soil stack with enough fall. During the visit we check the route and tell you which layout changes are feasible.
04Can I choose the tiles and sanitaryware myself?
Of course. We advise on sizes and formats so everything fits, and the quote lists labour and materials separately.
