Fitted wardrobes in Banyoles: what we look at in the space
In areas such as Vila Vella and Vila Nova, where winters are cold and there are plenty of heavy coats, a wardrobe needs long rails and deep top storage. We check there is around 60 cm of depth for hangers and, if not, fit pull-out rails.
Where there is no alcove, in homes in areas such as Sant Pere, La Farga and Canaleta we build a plasterboard partition on a stud frame to enclose the wardrobe up to the ceiling. We leave a route for the interior lighting and paint it to match the room.
After the visit you receive a written quote with sizes, doors and interior; we fit with the floor protected and leave the bedroom clean. Other nearby areas we cover: Porqueres, Cornellà del Terri and Fontcoberta.

Frequently asked questions
01Fitted wardrobe installation in Banyoles: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Banyoles, in areas such as Vila Vella, Vila Nova, Sant Pere, La Farga, Canaleta, Mas Palau, Cases Barates and Vila Olímpica, and also nearby: Porqueres, Cornellà del Terri and Fontcoberta. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Sliding or hinged doors?
Sliding doors need no room to open and suit tighter bedrooms. Hinged doors show the whole interior at once and blend more neatly into the wall.
03Can a fitted wardrobe go where there is no alcove?
Yes. We build the recess with a plasterboard partition or by closing off a corner, then fit the wardrobe inside. We plan it during the visit around the bedroom layout.
04How deep does a fitted wardrobe need to be?
Around 60 cm to hang clothes comfortably. With less depth, pull-out front rails work, or the wardrobe can be given over to shelving.
