Fitting a kitchen in Badalona: what we check first
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Dalt la Vila, Centre and Progrés kitchens tend to be large, with an island or peninsula and block walls. We fix the island to the floor, run water and waste underneath and use hollow-block fixings for the wall units.
On kitchens we fit in areas such as Sant Roc, Artigues and El Gorg we start with a laser level line at base-unit height and another for the wall units. The tall unit or corner goes in first to set the position of the rest, and units are joined together before being fixed.
More than 20 years fitting kitchens means we spot problems on the visit; the quote comes in writing and a site manager coordinates fitter, plumber and electrician. We also cover nearby areas: Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Montcada i Reixac.
