What we calculate before replacing a radiator
In houses and terraced homes, the top floor typically warms first while the ground floor never quite gets there. We fit lockshield valves to balance each radiator, bleed points at high spots and a thermostatic valve in each room (common in Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters).
We put thermostatic valves in the rooms and a lockshield on each return. In the room with the wall thermostat we leave a manual valve, so the two controls don't work against each other.
