What changes with a new waste system
In older houses waste pipes have been added piece by piece over decades, in mixed materials and along routes that are hard to follow. We lay out a new, orderly system with steady falls and access points where they are needed (especially in Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters).
The connection to the stack is the delicate part: we find cast iron, fibre cement or old PVC, and use the right adaptor for each. If the system has no venting, we add an air admittance valve.
