What we check before renovating a kitchen
In flats in areas such as Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters we often find the original kitchen, with period tiles, iron pipes and a plaster ceiling. We strip it back to a clean substrate and, where winters are cold, insulate the external wall before tiling.
For kitchens in areas such as El Cros, Sant Miquel del Cros and Sant Jaume de Treià we measure again after tiling and before ordering the units, because older walls are rarely square. The worktop is templated and cut to size once the base units are in place.
