From ground floor to roof: how we work
In 1960s to 80s blocks in areas such as Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters, ground-floor premises usually run their duct up the rear courtyard to the flat roof. We arrange roof access with the residents' association and seal the slab penetration against water.
In areas such as El Cros, Sant Miquel del Cros and Sant Jaume de Treià we finish the outlet with a cowl above the roof, away from windows and air intakes. Where the duct passes through a wall or slab we fit a sleeve and a seal rated for the duct's temperature.
After the visit and written quote we mark off the work area, protect the pavement and leave street and roof clean when we finish. We also cover the surrounding area: Mataró, Cabrera de Mar and Cabrils.
