From hood to duct: how we fit it
In areas such as Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters, many kitchen refits swap gas for induction and move the hob to an island or another wall. We reposition the hood over the new hob, redo the duct and power supply and close up the old outlet.
When an outlet has to be made in areas such as El Cros, Sant Miquel del Cros and Sant Jaume de Treià, we core-drill the wall, fit a sleeve with a fall to the outside and finish with a grille and non-return damper. The hole is sealed inside and out so no rain gets in.
After the visit and written quote we protect units and worktops while we work and clear the drilling dust when we finish. We also cover the surrounding area: Mataró, Cabrera de Mar and Cabrils.
