What we check on a wall before replastering
With colder winters, outside walls often show condensation and mould in the corners. Before plastering we consider an insulated lining or a more breathable render, then skim the wall ready for paint (often found in Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters).
After rewiring or new plumbing we fill the chases with gypsum, bed mesh over movement cracks and skim the entire wall, not just the patch, so nothing shows through the paint.
