From old tiles to a clean splashback
In areas such as Les Ginesteres, Can Raimir and Can Ferreters, where winters are cold, closed kitchens get a lot of condensation on outside walls and the grout ends up mouldy. We recommend tiling those walls in full with mould-resistant grout and checking the cooker hood outlet.
Behind the hob, in kitchens in areas such as El Cros, Sant Miquel del Cros and Sant Jaume de Treià, we recommend narrow joints with epoxy or high-performance grout, which does not absorb grease and wipes clean with a cloth. With thin porcelain or large-format tiles we keep the number of joints to a minimum.
