How we tile your kitchen
We check the condition of the wall and the existing tiles, measure up and help you choose format and colour. From that, we prepare a detailed written quote.
We protect units and worktop, prepare the surface and lay the tiles from a planned setting-out, with the cuts around sockets and corners worked out in advance.
We finish with grouting and trims, clean off adhesive residue and leave the kitchen tidy.

01Should the old tiles come off, or can you tile over them?
If the existing tiles are firm and flat, we can tile over them with a suitable adhesive. If they sound hollow or there is damp, we remove them so the problem is not carried over.
02Do the units have to come out for tiling?
Not for the splashback: we work with the units in place and protected. For full walls, it is better to tile before the kitchen is fitted.
03Which grout is easiest to keep clean?
Narrow joints with epoxy or high-performance grout repel grease and don't darken. We recommend them especially behind the hob and sink.
04How much does a complete renovation cost?
