What changes with a new waste system
In older houses waste pipes have been added piece by piece over decades, in mixed materials and along routes that are hard to follow. We lay out a new, orderly system with steady falls and access points where they are needed (especially in Centre and Can Magarola).
The connection to the stack is the delicate part: we find cast iron, fibre cement or old PVC, and use the right adaptor for each. If the system has no venting, we add an air admittance valve.
We open up only what is necessary, take out the lead and rubble with the home protected, and leave the system tested and clean, ready for flooring. We renew waste systems nearby as well: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.
