What we change in a living room before the furniture goes in
In flats in areas such as Centre and Can Magarola the living room is often the coldest room in winter, with old windows and uninsulated walls. When renovating we line the external wall with insulated plasterboard and run sockets and cables inside it.
In areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we plan living room lighting in scenes: a recessed LED strip around the ceiling, adjustable spotlights over the table and sockets for floor lamps, each group on its own circuit under the REBT.
While the work is under way we close off the living room with sheeting so dust does not reach the rest of the home, and hand it over clean, ready for the furniture. We renovate living rooms nearby too: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.
