What we check before renovating a kitchen
In flats in areas such as Centre and Can Magarola we often find the original kitchen, with period tiles, iron pipes and a plaster ceiling. We strip it back to a clean substrate and, where winters are cold, insulate the external wall before tiling.
For kitchens in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we measure again after tiling and before ordering the units, because older walls are rarely square. The worktop is templated and cut to size once the base units are in place.
After the visit you get a written quote with every item listed; during the work we protect the rest of the home and leave it clean at the end. We also renovate kitchens nearby: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.

Frequently asked questions
01Complete kitchen renovation in Alella: which areas do you cover?
We work in Alella in areas such as Centre, Can Magarola, Alella Parc, Can Sorts, Nova Alella and El Solell, and also nearby: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.
02Can the kitchen be moved to another part of the home?
Often, yes. The waste pipe decides it: it needs a fall to the soil stack and, over a long distance, the floor has to be raised. We check this during the visit.
03Who designs the new layout?
We start from your measurements and the way you cook. We propose where the sink, hob and fridge go, and set it out in the quote before work begins.
04Can I switch from gas to an induction hob?
Yes. We cap the gas point in the kitchen and run a dedicated electrical line for the hob, sized to the REBT and your contracted power.
