From rusty steel to a sound balcony
In areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, where it freezes in winter, water entering cracks turns to ice and opens up the balcony concrete. We seal the cracks, fit a drip edge along the whole perimeter and lay frost-resistant outdoor tiles.
We check the railing anchor by anchor: in homes in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we keep sound ironwork, replace corroded sections and fit new railings at the height set by the CTE, using chemical anchors where the substrate calls for it.
