Socket installation in Alella.

We put sockets in Alella where you actually use them, by the bed, the worktop or the desk, so extension leads and adaptors can finally go.

What socket installation includes

  • Well-planned positions

We place each socket around the furniture, TV, bed or worktop.

  • The right circuit

We spur from an existing circuit or run a new one, depending on the load.

  • Choice of fittings

Double, triple or USB sockets, matching the ones you already have.

  • Wet areas

In bathrooms and kitchens, at the distance from water set by the REBT.

  • Terrace or garden sockets

Weatherproof sockets with a cover for outdoor use.

  • Flush or surface-mounted

Chased in and filled, or in neat trunking if you prefer no building work.

Before adding a socket: what we check

In areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, blocks of flats and houses often have sockets added haphazardly over the years, sometimes daisy-chained from one outlet. We undo those links and spread the sockets across circuits so none runs at its limit.

If you would rather avoid building work, in flats in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we use existing conduit with spare room, or run the cable in surface trunking or a skirting channel. In plasterboard walls we fit dry-lining boxes that clamp to the board.

A site manager organises the job, and when we finish we vacuum the dust and put the furniture back. We also cover the surrounding areas: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.

Frequently asked questions

01

Socket installation in Alella: which areas do you cover?

We work in Alella in areas such as Centre, Can Magarola, Alella Parc, Can Sorts, Nova Alella and El Solell, and also nearby: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.

02

Can sockets be added without chasing the walls?

Yes. We can run the cable in surface trunking or use existing boxes and conduit. During the visit we show you which option looks neatest on each wall.

03

How many sockets can go on one circuit?

The REBT limits the number of sockets per circuit depending on its use. If a room is already at the limit, we run a new line from the consumer unit rather than overload the existing one.

04

Can I have a socket for the washing machine or oven wherever I want?

Yes, but these appliances need their own circuit with the right cable size. We run it from the consumer unit to the point you choose.
