From ground floor to roof: how we work
In 1960s to 80s blocks in areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, ground-floor premises usually run their duct up the rear courtyard to the flat roof. We arrange roof access with the residents' association and seal the slab penetration against water.
In areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we finish the outlet with a cowl above the roof, away from windows and air intakes. Where the duct passes through a wall or slab we fit a sleeve and a seal rated for the duct's temperature.
