How we plan a wardrobe interior
In areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, where winters are cold and there are plenty of heavy coats, a wardrobe needs long rails and deep top storage. We check there is around 60 cm of depth for hangers and, if not, fit pull-out rails.
Where there is no alcove, in homes in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we build a plasterboard partition on a stud frame to enclose the wardrobe up to the ceiling. We leave a route for the interior lighting and paint it to match the room.
