What we check on a wall before replastering
In areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, where winters are colder, outside walls often show condensation and mould in the corners. Before plastering we consider an insulated lining or a more breathable render, then skim the wall ready for paint.
After rewiring or new plumbing, which is common in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella, we fill the chases with gypsum, bed mesh over movement cracks and skim the entire wall, not just the patch, so nothing shows through the paint.
