What shapes the design of a bespoke piece
In areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, with cold winters and the heating on for months, solid timber shrinks and moves. So we use solid wood on visible parts and stable board for carcasses and shelves, and leave expansion gaps.
When fitting in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella we fix carcasses to the wall with anchors suited to the substrate, scribe the filler pieces to walls and ceiling and hide screws behind caps in the same finish.
We have more than 20 years in bespoke joinery: the detailed quote comes in writing, and a site manager coordinates making, fitting, electrics and painting. Nearby areas we also serve: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.
