Microcement in flats and houses: what we check locally
In areas such as Centre and Can Magarola, where winters are cold, many houses have underfloor heating. Microcement works well over it: we apply it with the heating off and tell you when to bring the heating back on gradually.
On floors in flats and premises in areas such as Alella Parc, Can Sorts and Nova Alella, we first check the movement joints and the condition of the screed. We carry those joints through the microcement and remove the old skirting so the finish runs cleanly up the wall.
With over 20 years' experience in finishes, we protect furniture and doors, work tidily and clear up when we finish. Nearby areas we also cover: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.

Frequently asked questions
01Microcement application in Alella: which areas do you cover?
We work in Alella in areas such as Centre, Can Magarola, Alella Parc, Can Sorts, Nova Alella and El Solell, and also nearby: El Masnou, Teià and Tiana.
02Can microcement go over tiles?
Yes, as long as the tiles are firmly bonded. We fill the joints and apply primer and mesh, so there is no breaking out and no rubble.
03Is microcement slippery in a shower?
It need not be. In wet areas we use a grainier finish and a non-slip sealer suitable for bare feet.
04How do you look after it?
Water and a neutral soap, no bleach or abrasive products. Over time the varnish can be renewed without redoing the microcement.
